After having created our individual system design reports, we met to discuss integrating our reports together.  After everyone confirmed its inputs and outputs and added anything new that had been included, I redrew our Level 0 System Diagram in the Chrome App LucidChart (Figure 1).

We all agreed to finalize and redraw our Level 2 FDD’s in LucidChart by Sunday so that we could meet in order to compile our reports.  (Level 1 divides the system into electrical and mechanical systems; Level 2 divides this into our individual systems).

We redefined our Level 1 FDD to better portray the systems of the hand such as fingers, thumb, palm (Figure 2).  Each of these hand systems will be divided up into locking and opening systems as needed with Devin leading the locking system design and Patrick leading the opening system design.  Currently, Chris is still leading the EMG Processing Subsystem under the Level 1 Control System and I am leading the Electrical/Control Subsystem of the Level 1 Control System.

My current updated FDD for the Electrical/Control Subassembly is shown below in Figure 3.
